The short version. We collect only what we need to run the Deal With It™ game, the Deal With It™ Club and this website: your email and sign-in details, what you choose to put on your profile, your game and community activity, and your order status. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. Payments run through Shopify — we never see your card number. You can delete your data at any time, and you can always reach a human at game@igorvainshtein.com.

Shopify and other services we link to have their own privacy policies that also apply when you use them.
The game and Club are for members with a paid or complimentary membership. Children under 13 may not use the Club. The app asks for a birthday only to decide the age band — if the person is under 13, we block them and do not store the birthday.
Teens aged 13 to 17 may join the Club only after a parent or guardian approves by email. We store the parent's email address and the approval record, and a parent can revoke approval at any time from the same email link. Teens get a restricted experience: no adults-only rooms, no deal posts, meetups show Live Sessions only, and messaging is limited. Some rooms and in-person meetups are adults only. One teen per parent email.
Posts, replies, reactions, bookmarks, polls, reports, and direct messages between members. Members control who can message them.
Games played, results, the game summaries we email after a game, and the progress and in-game stats shown on your Club profile.
Order details and membership status come to us from Shopify: order ID, product, dates, membership period, and whether the board game was purchased. Shipping addresses for the board game are handled in Shopify.
Emails we send — sign-in codes, game summaries, meetup reminders, announcements, digests, parent approval and account notices — plus your email preferences, including unsubscribe.
Push notification tokens, when push is enabled.
Reports, moderation decisions, word-filter holds, bans and appeals, and an audit log of team actions. Evidence attached to a report is kept for the review of that report.
Google Analytics on the websites and Shopify Analytics on the store: page views, referral source, device and browser type, and approximate location from IP. Cookies are described below. We also keep standard server logs, device type and app version, and crash data.
Our websites use cookies from Google Analytics, and the store uses Shopify cookies, to understand traffic and run checkout. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out tool or your browser's "do not track" settings, and manage cookies in your browser at any time.

You can ask us for access to your information, a correction, deletion, a portable copy, and to stop marketing emails. Email game@igorvainshtein.com and we'll take care of it.
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct inaccurate information, and to port it. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We don't sell personal information and don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is needed. To exercise your rights, email game@igorvainshtein.com. We verify your request by replying to the email on file.
For members in the EU and UK: we process your information to perform our contract with you (running the game and Club), for our legitimate interests (safety, analytics, keeping the service secure), and with your consent for optional profile fields and marketing email — you can withdraw consent at any time. Your information is transferred to and stored in the United States. You have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Your information is encrypted in transit. We use access controls and row-level security in the database, and team access is limited by role. We don't store passwords — there are none to leak.
If you're a parent reading this before approving a teen: here's the plain truth. When your teen joins the Club, we store their email, a username, their first name and last initial, and your email address. They get a restricted version of the Club — no adults-only rooms, no deal posts, limited messaging, and meetups show Live Sessions only. We use their birthday once to check they're 13 or older, then don't keep it. You can revoke your approval at any time from the same email link that approved it, and that closes their access. If anything worries you, email game@igorvainshtein.com and a person will answer.
